IF everything goes smoothly, I guess it’s fine… but if anything goes wrong and you need customer service, it is the most frustrating thing I have EVER gone through! First off, they have no direct customer service. So no one you can talk to. They have a chat on their website, but if you ask them a question, it takes a good 15 – 20 minutes to get a response. And if you respond back you have to wait again. The couple of emails I sent took days for response. All their responses you can tell are copied and pasted generic responses. These kids have no idea what they’re talking about. They like to say “apologies” a lot. My package ended up with DHL, and they have been amazing. It is worth paying the extra money. They stay with your package and they call you and follow through. Unfortunately, since I did mine through ParcelMonkey, I had to get an authorization letter from Parcel Monkey for me to get the package through that required payment from me for customs. I was sending Christmas presents to a group of kids I sponsor in a 3rd world country. The customs was so high I told DHL that I would pay for it. But since I did the transaction with PM they had to authorize the payment. Of course I would pay them for it, they have my CC number but they refused to do it. DHL is STILL dealing with it for me, trying to work around the unfortunate fact that I used Parcel Monkey but they’re hands are tied. Seriously, they are REALLY bad! I’ve never EVER dealt with such horrible customer service before in my life! Especially in this day in age with all the competition. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY!!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I have NEVER written a negative review for anything and I’m 47 years old. This, I could not let pass. I couldn’t believe that they can run a business like that!”
